Hi Blog World. It’s been a while since I’ve actually written something. It’s not because I don’t want to, it’s because I’ve found every excuse not to. I know that you make the time for things that matter to you. But, honestly, for the past few days, lounging on the couch with Hubby and Copley have taken precedence over everything.
All weekend we basically sat on the couch and watched Last Man Standing.
The show stars Tim Allen and is basically Home Improvement but with girls instead of boys. And there’s a lot more Republican politics involved, which I find hilarious. It’s a little much for my taste, but Hubby and I both laugh hysterically. I seriously enjoy it.
I’ve realized that it’s okay to have something like a tv show be the most important thing on the agenda for the weekend. No shame.
But I realized that I missed blogging. It is definitely something that I want to make time to do. Just like Rosetta Stone. I have been known to commit to something wholeheartedly for about 3 weeks and then it falls to the wayside. Hint, Rosetta Stone! Now I am going to find the time to write. It’s something that gives me joy and something that I do for me.
Something that lit a fire in me today was seeing that an article I wrote for Career Contessa was shared on Levo League. I have read Levo League for about 3 years and it is the #1 site for millenial women for career and life advice. The fact that something I wrote was shared on that site IS HUGE! I am truly honored and proud to write for Career Contessa. Here’s a link to the article for your reading pleasure.
What’s your passion? What do you like to do instead of what you “should” be doing?
The past few weeks since coming home from our last trip back to the States…
One of the questions my friends always ask me is: So, what are you doing…
