Friday Favs {April 22}

TGIF! TGIF! Wow, this week went by so quickly. Who knew not working could still be time consuming. I am absolutely starting to feel settled and attempting to find a routine.

We don’t have huge plans this weekend, just more apartment things, and I’m looking forward to hanging out, working out and enjoying some yummy food. Now onto my Friday Favs of this week.

I have been on a huge reading kick lately. This past week I read Ramona Singer’s book and Giuliana Rancic’s book. Ramona Singer is a RHONY and Giuliana Rancic is the former E! News host and wife of season 1 of The Apprentice winner. They were both really quick reads and I found myself laughing and crying at parts. I was surprised to learn some behind the scenes facts and stories about the Real Housewives of New York City and about G’s past and growing up in Italy. Now I’m reading a book about a former Kardashian nanny because I’m very cerebral over here!

Spring Weather

And no one is more excited than this little snuggle bug. I opened the door to the balcony one day as I was putting clothes away  and found Copley sunning herself. She stayed out there for an hour and a half!! The past few days have bee in the lower 70’s and been truly magical. Thank you, Spring for finally coming!

Stuttgart’s Springfest

The Stuttgart Frulingsfest (Spring Fest) is currently happening and we ventured down there on Tuesday night. It’s basically Oktoberfest in the spring. We ate some bratwurst and chicken, drank huge beers and danced on the tables. Spring Fest is basically a carnival with rides everywhere and bier gardens. We got into a tent and had a blast! Initially I thought it wouldn’t be fun, but then the band played Backstreet Boys…and I didn’t leave the top of the table the rest of the night. For the record, everyone dances on the benches while drinking these steins of beer. True Germans over here.

Real Housewives of New York

I am LOVING this season of Real Housewives of New York. I’m not so sure about the new girl, Jules, but I am invested in Bethenny, Ramona and Luann, the OG’s of New York. I think this season is going to be epic! I did start watching Dallas and will give it a chance, but I don’t have high hopes. I don’t love that the first two episodes were all about these charity functions. If I was playing a drinking game with the word, “charity,” I would have been wasted!

Have a fantastic Friday and an even better weekend!
