Friday Favs {December 30}

There are only two more days in 2016. How is that possible? This year has absolutely flown and I know 2017 is going to bring even more adventures. I don’t think I’m going to have any resolutions per se this year, probably more like goals. We’ll see. I’ll probably do a post on it at some point. How are you spending your last few days of 2016?

Since it is Friday, I thought I’d share my Friday Favs of the week. There aren’t many because we’ve been super lazy, but I still thought I’d share those few.

Snuggling on the couch

puppy snuggles

Pretty much since Christmas Eve, we have spent hours and hours on the couch, snuggling and watching movies. Some favorites are The Godfather Part III, Philadelphia, Christmas Vacation and Pulp Fiction. We are taking our relaxation to an all new level and it has been so nice.

Best of Country 2016 Playlist

music playlist

Thanks to Apple Music (and my parents), I can listen to any music I want, whenever I want. I haven’t been listening to a lot of music recently, except for Christmas music, and yesterday I went to the library for some focused blog time (and their internet is A LOT faster) and started listening to the Best of Country 2016 playlist. I hadn’t heard a lot of these songs or heard of a lot of these artists, so I was really into all the music. I really like Tim McGraw’s new songs, Kane Brown Kelsea Ballerini and Marin Morris. I certainly have missed a lot of the new music since moving to Germany. I feel like that scene in Mean Girls when Lindsay Lohan doesn’t know who sings some of the songs and guesses The Spice Girls. So out of touch!

Christmas Leftovers

christmas dinner

I made homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs for our Christmas dinner and we had leftovers for three days straight. I love not having to worry about dinner plans and there’s nothing better than leftover meatballs.

We have zero plans for New Year’s Eve this year. It’s never been my favorite holiday. I feel like there’s so much hype for it and it never delivers. Fireworks are huge in Germany and we don’t want to leave Copley alone, either. What are you doing for NYE?

I think that’ll do it for my last post of 2016! Wow. See you all in 2017!
