Happy 4th of July Weekend! Sorry this post is coming to you so late, but I was enjoying my day off work. And it was glorious. I’m really looking forward to spending time with my Hubby and my puppy, lounging by the pool and reading Lena Dunham’s book.
This week was a short one and I had a lot of favs, so let’s hop to it! Everyone have a safe and happy Fourth of July celebrating our freedom.
I’ve expressed my love for Orangetheory and my love continues. I’ve taken 2 more classes in the past 2 weeks and I have definitely started to notice a difference in my endurance and my body. The above performance is from my Orange Theory class today. I must be more in shape because I didn’t spend as much time in the orange zone as previous classes. I’m taking another one on Sunday, so I’ll push myself more to be more in the orange zone.
Healthy, balance breakfasts
I’ve been working out a lot harder as of late, and because of that, I’ve stepped up my breakfast game. I’m loving eggs with spinach and cheese with fruit, and on special occasions, bacon. Yummy!!
Hubby loves tennis and I’m starting to develop a love for the game, as well. I really like watching Wimbeldon, mostly for the chance to see the Duchess of Cambridge, but also for the white outfits and true athleticism. Did anyone else watch the Serena Williams vs. Heather Watson match? It was great!! Heather almost beat Serena, who is ranked #1 and chasing a Grand Slam title. I was hoping Heather would win because she is from Great Britain and has never won against a top 5 ranked player. And that’s exhibit A of why Wimbeldon is so much fun.
Here’s Copley Bean and me snuggling on the couch this past week. I just love this little puppy and I can’t imagine life without her. When she snuggles up with me on the couch, it’s one of my favorite parts of the day.
I can’t wait to sleep in tomorrow and just lounge around!
What’s on your agenda for the 4th? What are your favs from the week?
TGIF. TGIF. I woke up yesterday (Thursday) thinking it was Friday. I hate when that…
