Friday Favs {June 3}

Thank you all for the support regarding my post yesterday. I felt better throughout the day yesterday and even this morning. I’ve already been to the gym, am currently watching Housewives and drinking a cup of coffee. It’s going to be a good day and a good weekend!

Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d share my Friday Favs for this past week.

Daily Mail App

I recently downloaded the Daily Mail app on my iPad. I heard about it on the Bitch Sesh podcast and decided to give it a look. It’s an app that’s more entertainment news than actual current event news. They report a lot on reality shows, which I love, and celebrities. It’s great to still feel connected to what’s happening back at home. And to see how skinny all the celebs are!

Buh-Bye Grey’s

I got my hair cut and colored this week. I am in love with my hairdresser, she speaks great English and is quite funny. She colors my hair so well and the cut is great! I am loving my new haircut and the fact that my hair no longer has grey. Yes, I have grey hair even at (almost) 28 years old. It sucks.

Broke Millennial

I recently found after listening to The Paper Year podcast. This website is written by a 20-something girl who wants to increase financial literacy in the millennial generation. She writes about debt, credit scores, how to contribute to your 401k and more. She writes really well and I particularly like when she writes about student loan debt. Her boyfriend has a lot of student loan debt and they came to the conclusion that they would live off her income, so his teacher’s salary could go directly to student loans. She writes that when they get married it will become “our debt” and no longer “his debt.” It’s very interesting. You should check it out!

And that’s it for this week!! It was a week of highs and lows, but I’m going on the uptick now. Have a great weekend!
