Friday Favs {November 18}

It’s Friday. Hooray, TGIF. It’s been an up and down week and I am excited for a weekend full of relaxing, working on some new blog ideas, laundry (OMG, the laundry has piled up!), hanging out with some friends who are here in Germany for work and decorating more for Christmas.

Wow, seems like I’m going to have a busy weekend. But before it’s officially the weekend, it’s time to share my Friday Favs from this past week.

An article for International Auto Source

About a month ago, I was asked to write an article for International Auto Source’s blog. The company works with military people and their families on finding, leasing or purchasing a car while deployed somewhere abroad.

I was honored to write something that could even possibly help the military, especially considering all that they’ve done for us. I wrote “5 Tips for Adjusting to German Life” and I must say I’m pretty proud of it. I’d love if you could give it a read and let me know what you think.

This pillow

pillow

I saw this pillow on our trip to London and if I had space in my suitcase, I would have totally brought this home. I’m not usually a fan of these “Keep Calm” things, but with “Drink Champagne,” I can definitely get on board with it. I also love that it’s red!

The Heathrow Airport Commercial

Have you seen this commercial from Heathrow Airport? Warning: do not watch if you’ve ever cried at an episode of Oprah. It is the cutest holiday commercial I’ve ever seen, even better than the Coca-Cola pandas. It did make me a little sad because I will not be going home for Christmas this year. But, there’s always next year!

Beauty and the Beast Trailer

This is not a fav, but my Facebook has been blowing up with people loving it. I have to say, I don’t like. Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite Disney movie. I was Belle twice or three times for Halloween as a kid. I have the entire movie memorized. And I just don’t think this movie is going to be good. I don’t even want to link to it! For one, Belle is British?! Sorry Emma Watson, but Belle is French. Secondly, they gave the Beast horns that are way too big. Thirdly, Chip is not as cute and he was the cutest part of the whole movie. I will probably see it, but I’m not happy about it.

To end on a positive note, happy birthday, Karen!!
