We all know I’m obsessed with Bravo, and I’ve recently discovered a new reason to be obsessed with the network that brought us all reunions on a couch, awful travel with friends to beautiful places and dinner parties with more screaming than eating.
When I was at home last, I stumbled upon Manzo’d with Children thanks to my mom’s DVR. And now I’ve been watching some episodes on the Bravo website.
I loved Caroline Manzo on New Jersey and I loved her no-nonsense style. She loves her family and makes no excuses for that. She says what she means and means what she says.
I’ve watched a few episodes and this show is great!! I have laughed out loud in the majority of episodes. The kids are hilarious and the situations they come up with make for fantastic television.
Her house is my favorite. It is clearly lived in but still gorgeous.
In one episode of Manzo’d with Children Caroline was giving her daughter, Lauren, advice on handling finances once she’s married. Caroline offered to have Lauren stay at her house for a few months in order to save money so Lauren and her soon to be husband can purchase the house of their dreams. Then, Caroline says, “We can even go look at some houses if you want. You don’t have to tell him.” Lauren, “OK.” Caroline, “Wrong answer. You should say, “Yes, I’d like to do that. Let me talk to Vito.'”
Great advice about marriage, finances and not keeping secrets from your spouse. Caroline is a quick shooter and I appreciate that in someone who is on a reality show. I think I have a new obsession!
Do you watch the show? Do you like honest people?
