Scary Hard Workout

Oh boy do I have a workout for you!! At the gym, I normally follow whatever the Tone it Up girls are doing when I’m not at my beloved Orangetheory classes.

Today, I wanted to do something similar to an OTF workout to get my blood flowing at 5:30 AM and to get me sweating. I’m a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s wedding next week and I have been busting my butt so I look great standing next to her for her special day. Oh, and the wedding is on a beach.

So, I decided to do an interval style workout on the treadmill that lasted about 30 minutes. Well, more like 28, but who’s counting?! Here’s what I did:


This is a typical Orangetheory type workout going from a comfortable pace to a push to drain your tank!! I did the above 3 times and was sweating like a beast. It definitely made the 28+ minutes pass insanely quickly.

After my treadmill work, I headed over to the free weights area where I did 3 rounds of 15 each of the below:

  • Overhead squats with 20 pound bar
  • Upright rows
  • Side leg lifts
  • Plie squats
  • Leg raises
  • Ab twists

I actually did 75 of the ab twists once everything was over. Man, was that a great workout!!

I’m going to be feeling it tomorrow!
