Stumbling Upon Greatness

Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday. I just was not feeling it. I wasn’t really feeling anything. I just wanted to sit in the hotel room, take a nap and maybe take the pup for a walk.

And that’s exactly what I did. And it was amazing.

Sometimes you just need a day to take a break, get back to yourself and find your happy again. Today has been a great day so far!

I went on a 30 minute walk with Copley, had a German lesson and then another 1 hour walk with Copley. I love our walks. It is definitely the reason my pants still fit because I have not been eating healthy – think pizza, chocolate, gummy bears, croissants, everything. I can’t wait to get into our kitchen and can have fresh fruits and veggies whenever I want!!

On my long walk today, I stumbled upon an amazing walking path.

I mean, just look at that blue sky and the wide path. It was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect, too.  I could wear a coat and scarf but I wasn’t hot. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze. It was amazing.

I love stumbling upon these random places. I usually will find one place and go there everyday or rather frequently. I love what I love. I get stuck in my ways. But sometimes I can get out of my comfort zone and try something new.

So, today I went down a different road and it opened up to a farm, path and pond. Amazing.

It was so serene and peaceful. It was also a life lesson, sometimes the greatest things you find when you’re not looking and when you step out of your comfort zone.

Here’s to the next three years of stepping out of my comfort zone!

How beautiful, I love your linking it to a life lesson. I get so stuck in my own little bubble but I’m never sure why as the best things have happened when I’ve ‘stepped outside’ it!

It’s so easy to get stuck. It’s hard to get out of my own way, but it’s always worth it in the end.
