We're Moving to Germany

Remember on Friday when I said that big things are happening? Well, the cat’s out of the bag: We Are Moving to Germany!!

Hubby accepted a job outside of Stuttgart, Germany at the end of October and he officially starts February 1, 2016. We will be here for 3 years and I’ve started job hunting in the area, as well.

Here we are exploring our new hometown at a Christmas market, or Weihnachtsmarkt in German, in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

We’ve been on the hunt for an apartment all week, learning about the culture and just exploring on our own. I plan on writing some posts about how we found a place to live, what the move looked like and hopefully answer some overall questions about what it’s like to move/live in a foreign country!

We are really excited to embark on this new adventure together. I can’t wait to travel Europe, learn German and experience an entirely new and different culture. Never in my life did I think we would be moving to Germany, but now that it’s happening, I can’t imagine life any other way.

The best part is getting to go through it all with Hubby and we’ll look back at these years as the best years of our lives.

I’ll be blogging about our adventures right here, so keep reading!! The best is yet to come.
