What Are You Googling?

I was thinking the other day about how much random stuff I Google.

What was life like before Google? I seriously can’t remember. The search engine was definitely around when I was in middle school and high school, but I do remember having to actually visit the library to look up books for research papers. Looking back, it totally sucked! Kids these days get all the great stuff! I swear, I don’t feel the need to remember anything because I can just Google it later. Am I the only one?

Now that Google has its own verb, Googling, I look things up constantly! It is usually on my phone because it’s such easy access.

My latest Google searches:

  • Best wine and cheese board in Detroit <— I still haven’t found one! Anyone have a suggestion?
  • 1985 Wine <— My parent’s 30 year wedding anniversary is coming up. Just looking for some gift ideas
  • How much is Bethenny Frankel worth? <— $25 million, in case you were wondering
  • Valentin Imperial Maya <— the hotel where we’re staying in Mexico for my friend’s wedding
  • How many ounces in a quart? <— standard cooking question and I look this up once a week
  • How to get knots out of dog’s fur <— Copley got all kinds of wet and dirty and when we gave her a bath, she was all knotted. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.
  • Maxi Dresses <— I want all the dresses!!
  • Colin Firth movies <— to remember the name of the movie when Colin Firth falls in love with a woman who doesn’t even speak his language. How could I forget Love Actually?

What was the last thing you Googled? Do you feel like you don’t really need to know anything because you can just Google it?
